Ag & Extension Education & Environmental Committee

Committee Description

This Committee shall be comprised of five County Board members.  This Committee shall perform the functions and exercise the powers as set forth in section 59.87 of the Wisconsin Statutes.  Its duties shall include:

  1. Have charge of all agricultural and extension education related matters within the County and shall act with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Educators in all matters pertaining to the County Agriculture, 4-H Youth Positive Development, Family Living Education and Resource Development Programs.
  2. Hire, supervise and evaluate County University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Educators.
  3. Audit and allow all bills originating in and for University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension and agricultural related purposes in the County.

Meeting Schedule

This committee meets monthly during the first week of the month. This committee may also meet on an as needed basis, please see the calendar for all meeting dates and locations.
